Frost "thorns" on the rose bush.
This has been such a weather-dominated year it's only appropriate that I found this photo of frost on the rose bush one of my favorites all year. One frosty morning recently I went outside and saw what I thought were ice-covered thorns, but these were not thorns, just a set of odd mini icicles.
We're celebrating the wettest Christmas ever here in England. Hope yours is dry, white, or whatever you wish it to be. My family have all arrived safely, gifts are all wrapped, the seitan is marinating, and cinnamon rolls are rising.
What more could one wish for?
Happy Christmas from Chez Flake.
