Friday Cow Blogging

A happy-ending story about a mama cow and the baby who got left behind.

A friend posted this video on Facebook, and at first I refused to watch it. I never watch upsetting videos about animals, knowing how I'll react. But then she reassured me, twice, that the story had a happy ending. 

Since I'm all about happy endings, I clicked. And I'm glad I did. 

This reminds me of another happy ending I saw once. 

This cow, Karma, and her babies were rescued by The Gentle Barn. You can sign up to sponsor one of their rescued animals—I just did. 

Anyone who doubts that cows don't have emotional attachments to their babies needs to come visit my cows. Heck, I'm not even their mum and I get emotionally attached. Did I ever tell you about Socks?
