This lovely ewe and her lambs were at Avebury about four weeks ago when I last did the Stonehenge/Avebury Official Tour, which offers as added attractions thatched roofs, funny British men flirting, and animals of all stripes and colours.
And this summer, fashionable sheep at Avebury are all wearing blue.
Avebury is just that much more special than Stonehenge, because not only can you see the funny misshapen stones up close and personal but you get to view dodgy sheep. Dodgy as in you must dodge their poo.
