Little Dutch Keukencalf
Yes, I know, it's been awhile, hasn't it? But this little guy was worth waiting for Friday Cow Blogging to re-emerge from its winter hiatus, when cows aren't so easy to find.
Among the many areas at Keukenhof gardens is a petting zoo for children and children-at-heart. The animals seem well cared for and the area is supervised, so youngsters of all breeds are happy inside the pens.
This little guy was adorable. I expect he's a few weeks old. He loved getting scratched under the collar, just like my dog.
He'll make someone a great pet some day. Tot zo, Keukencalf!
