Sheep at Bignor in the South Downs
These sheep at Bignor Farm looked more like wooly walruses. I don't know what breed they were (I'm more of a bovineologist myself) but they were definitely unlike any I've come across. Perhaps they're a throwback to Roman sheep.
Oh wait. I just googled "South Downs sheep" and came up with the answer: They're South Downs sheep. And they have their own Society.
Research in action, folks. Leave it to the professionals.
