I'm leaving tomorrow for Germany, then we're driving to Italy. If you have any travel advice for Frankfort or the Italian Riviera (we'll be in Lerici) please share.
Nothing like driving through the Alps during February! At least the beaches won't be crowded.
Among other sites, I hope to visit Tellero, where the locals were once saved from a pirate attack after the church bells were rung by a stray octopus. As long as I don't find any on my plate.
Maybe I'll post the occasional photo. We got a netbook to bring along on the trip, but I can't vouch for the availability of internet. I think it's part of Italy's charm that some hotels don't have internet. Oh well. Ciao.
