One of my friends from the Dean campaign, who headed up Latinos for Dean, has just endorsed Obama. Jerome Wiley Segovia, who Ben Smith says is the best named superdelegate, was on the Rules and Bylaws Committee that met on Saturday, and remained neutral until today.
I knew he'd come out for Obama. Jerome's a good guy. He was one of a group of Iowa staff who showed up in New Mexico, after driving straight from Iowa. I met them at my house in the wee hours of the morning, and bedded them down. The first thing he said upon meeting me was, "Are you related to Jeff Flake?"
I would say I get that a lot, but actually, very few people have ever heard of him. I guess that will change if he runs for McCain's old seat.
