Diseases Involving Appendages

After talking to Daughter Number One I've learned that there are some misconceptions about foot and mouth disease.

Note that, you do not need to be more careful about putting your cat's paw in your mouth. You cannot catch foot and mouth from your cat.

You may, however, catch foot IN mouth that way, and that is truly an awful disease to have.

Just thought I'd clear that up.
