Any day now, the Senate may vote on HR 810 -- the single most important piece of stem cell legislation before Congress. This is the one that would rescind President Bush's draconian restrictions on stem cell research. This is the one that has (miraculously) already passed the House. If it is passed in the Senate, it either will become law -- or force President Bush to issue his first veto.
Senator Frist may be calling a vote today. The email form is all ready to send; you just add your name and address. Please add your voice to mine, and to the silent voices of those who suffer from diseases stem cell research could one day cure. (You can also call your senator here. I just called both of mine, in case their email is down. You never know.)
