One day we'll be looking back at the time when no one imagined they could afford to install solar panels and solar water heating in their home. Anyone who wants will generate their own electricity from a set of solar panels strapped to their roof.
Of course if we'd used the money we're spending on the military operation in Iraq to install these things on government buildings in this decade, we might be at that point already.
