Blue Gal tagged me with a blog meme, which involves revealing your silliest ever post. No, it actually says you have to find the fifth sentence in your 23rd post and examine it for relevancy.
Unfortunately, instead of my 23rd post carrying the gravitas of the 23rd Psalm, it was a silly post about the royal wedding. The good thing is I found a typo that had been sitting out there for all the world (the royal-watching googling world) to see. Shameful. After relocating a period, I discovered this fifth sentence:
Okay, your favorite UK blogger.
At least, that's the fifth sentence if you include parenthetical sentences. (Have you noticed I make frequent use of parentheses? Does it drive you nuts?) If not (and a good argument can be made for not including them) this is the fifth sentence:
So forget CNN, Sky, and Weekly World News.
That, of course, is timeless advice.
When it comes to passing along the meme, I always like to share the pain with my Kathy Cabal, of which some have already developed immunity. So, Kath, Kathy, Kathy, Katharine, KathyR, Kathy P., Kathy, kathy, Catherine, and Catharine: you're It. Unless you've already exposed yourself. (And KathyR, I think I first saw this meme at your place. Typhoid Kathy, you are.)
