Pride and Prejudice Redux: Eight Minutes of Syrup

It has come to my attention that the version of Pride and Prejudice that was shown in the US recently was a different version than the one I saw in September. Movie-goers in the states were treated to an extra eight minutes.

Or not. Turns out the extra eight minutes add "sweetness" to the film. Kisses and sighs and so forth.

Sorry, but you guys got cheated.
