I'm getting lots of Google hits from the search "Terri Schiavo democrats." Searchers are landing on my "Framing Terri Schiavo" post. Makes me wonder if the fears I expressed in that post are coming true.
I'm also getting hits from the search "poor Terri." Not really sure how to interpret that, except to say there's a lot of sympathy here for that poor woman.
Just for the record, I DO NOT speak for the Democratic Party, nor do I speak for any candidate for political office. I worked on several Democratic campaigns, as a volunteer and unpaid staff (they couldn't have fired me if they'd wanted to). So if you've come here to find ammunition to label Democrats as 'pro-death' I suggest you first examine your own views toward Medicaid, the death penalty, Social Security, stem cell research, funding for medical research, the environment, mandatory use of seat belts, gun control, workplace safety, sex ed, and I could go on, but I think you've got the picture. "Democrats are pro-life, including pro-quality of life." Google THAT.
Now that we've got that out of the way...
