Friday Turkey Blogging

Just in time for Thanksgiving, I've adopted a turkey. Here she is, the newest addition to the flock:

Isn't she gorgeous? She'll continue to live in New York at the Farm Sanctuary, where she nibbles corn and other goodies with the rest of her flock. She'll never find herself the centerpiece of someone's Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner table. Which is a good thing—she's far too pretty just the way she is, with her pretty pale pink neck intact. 

If you'd like to adopt a turkey (you can even adopt Daphne!) go here. For $30, you can ensure that turkeys like Daphne will never land on anyone's plate and instead will live the rest of their lives just being a turkey.
