When It Rains, It Pours

Thames

The flooded Thames, taken on Wednesday, the last day we saw the sun around here.

The bad news: Parts of England are flooding again.

The good news: The gov't and rescue agencies learned so much from the last two major floods this year that they're on top of things. No worries.

The bad news: The Footsie (that's FTSE to you) dropped 5 1/2 % today, the biggest drop since Sept. 11, 2001.

The good news: Markets in America were closed today for MLK day.

The bad news: Temperatures in Hell are higher than ever.

The good news: Handbasket shares were up.

It's just been one of those days.
