Montmartre

Montmartre

Sacre Ceour, i.e. Sacred Heart. This was described by poet Jacques Roubaud as a big baby's bottle for the angels to suck. Described by the Rough Guide as "a weird confection of French and Byziantine architecture whose pimply tower and white ice-cream dome has somehow become an essential part of the Paris skyline."
